On December 6th The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) hosted their Top Performance Awards Ceremony in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The event brought together the best of the region’s talent and dignitaries such as the Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, and the  Minister of Education, National Reconciliation and Information. It was a festive atmosphere as teachers, family and friends were all proud of the awardees’ accomplishments.

The event saw 183 students overall receive awards, with 17 gold awardees, 30 silver awardees and 21 bronze awardees, while 115 students received certificates of national recognition, according to Antigua Observer.

Awards were presented for outstanding performances in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), and the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC).

For the second year running, RM Results had the honour of sponsoring the CAPE Mathematics Award. The Award is given to students as recognition of the outstanding work achieved within the field of study for mathematics. Along with a plaque, the awardee receives career planning guidance from RM Results.
