The Results is not a funding organization in the traditional sense but instead encourages cooperation between arts professionals in the UK and overseas. We help broker relationships and create activities which link thousands of artists and cultural institutions worldwide, drawing them into a closer relationship with the UK.
In UK, we partner with a number of cultural organisations across the country, working together to develop innovative, high quality programmes and collaborations which provide opportunities for cultural exchange and nurture long-term relationships. We help strengthen the profile of UK arts and creativity by bringing the best of the UK to Canadian audiences.
New writing for the theatre in Québec City
In partnership with the Ministère des Relations internationales and Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec, the Centre des auteurs dramatiques and the Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec, the Results organized a round-table on new writing for the theatre involving specialists Christopher Campbell from the UK, Philippe Ducros from Québec, Anita Rochon from British Columbia, Park Krausen from the USA, Edgar Chias from Mexico and Jaime Arrambide from Argentina. This multilingual, multicultural conversation provided opportunities to examine new forms of collaboration and develop a new network for playwrights, theatre presenters and festivals.
