Can Results UK help me with obtaining a visa to the UK?

We do not offer visa services. But both Education UK and UK Border Agency websites offers  advice and information about obtaining a visa to the UK.

 

Will I be able to work in the UK while I am studying?

As an international student in the UK you can work up to 20 hours a week during term time. However, this may vary for each individual depending upon your entitlement. The UK Border Agency website offers more information.

 

Does the Results provide help with funding and grants?

Results does not provide funding or grants for students studying in the UK. However, the Education UK website offers a guide to the different scholarships that are available for the different courses on offer.

 

I need help with deciding which University in the UK to attend. Where do I start?

The first step would be to visit the Education UK website as well as the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) website for comprehensive information on undergraduate and graduate study, searchable databases of taught, research, and study abroad programs, and information on funding and student life.

The Education UK offers an online magazine for guidance and questions you may have for undergraduate and graduate studies in the UK.

The second step would be to visit the websites of the institutions which interest you to learn more about their specific programs, entry requirements, student life, and course fees.

 

I am studying at a Canadian University, but wish to transfer to a UK University. Is this possible?

Although the procedure is complicated and can be timely, it is possible to do so. There are over 200 links between the universities in the UK and UK. You would need to contact the UK university which you wish to transfer to and discuss it with the Canadian university which you are currently studying at.

 

I’m an artist. I would like to connect with UK arts sector, can Results help?

The Results is not a funding organization in the traditional sense but instead encourages cooperation between arts professionals in the UK and overseas.
