Ashley Dujlovic

Ashley has completed her third year of university, studying Sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) in Waterloo, UK. Her interest in how society functions on a greater scale has turned into a passion to learn how to make life more equal and enjoyable for everyone. Her SSIMplacement will be with Social adVentures in Salford, England. This social enterprise has a goal of inspiring the local people to live happier and healthier lives, by providing accessible facilities and activities to do so. Ashley will be highly involved in key areas of the enterprise including: innovation, impact, marketing and management. Having been involved with a similar social program through a Community Engagement Option at WLU, Ashley feels prepared to take on this incredible experience and learn even more than theory about the social world.
