Matthew Clarke

Matt is a second year student studying Politics at the University of Essex, UK and the University of Hong Kong, HK. Matt has formed a strong interest in the International Development sector over the course of his studies, focusing specifically on the food security and resource management needs of vulnerable populations. Such interest has already seen Matt undertake experiences in Dakar, Senegal with International Development NGOs. For his upcoming placement Matt will be working with Commonwealth of Learning, an intergovernmental organization representing some 1.7 billion people across the globe. Commonwealth of Learning is dedicated to encouraging the development and sharing of open learning and distance education resources and technologies. In his role, Matt will be devising a business plan that can promote quality education and the utilisation of technologies amongst developing nations.
